Communion is the iconic classic in which Whitley Strieber describes his 1985 close encounter experiences. This book, which fundamentally changed the way we understand close encounters and alien abductions, is presented here with a new introduction by the author. Do not miss this great classic and the powerful introduction that explores the situation as it stands today—even more provocative and important now, as official sources are admitting that UFOs are real unknowns and that they seem to have something to do with close encounters.

Story
In Dimensions, Dr. Jacques Vallee reexamines the historical record that led to the modern UFO phenomenon and to the belief in alien contact. He then tackles the enigma of abduction reports, which come from various times and various countries, as well as the psychic and spiritual components of the contact experience. In the last portion of the book, he notes the factors that inhibit research into the phenomenon - the triple coverup and political motivations - and concludes that the extraterrestrial theory is simply not strange enough to explain the facts.

Story
Of the many books on UFOs and aliens, this one may be unique. Richard Dolan, one of the world’s leading historians of the UFO subject, has analyzed the different alien types and agendas based on longstanding patterns observed by witnesses. This is both a careful review of the best evidence we have of human-alien interaction, as well as a bold speculation of just who the aliens are and what they want. Dolan’s analysis starts with our ancient prehistory and potential genetic modifications and monitoring by extraterrestrials.

Is there a single intelligent force behind all religious, occult, and UFO phenomena? Strange manifestations have haunted humans since prehistoric times. Beams of light, voices from the heavens, the "little people", gods and devils, ghosts and monsters, and UFOs have all had a prominent place in our history and legends. In this dark work, John Keel explores these phenomena, and in doing so reveals the shocking truth about our present position and future destiny in the cosmic scheme of things.

Publisher's Summary
For more than 50 years, bizarre events at a remote Utah ranch have ranged from the perplexing to the wholly terrifying: vanishing and mutilated cattle, huge otherworldly creatures, invisible objects emitting magnetic fields, and more. For the family living at Skinwalker Ranch, life was under siege, and no one had been able to explain the horrors that surrounded them...But maybe science could. Leading a first-class team of research scientists, Colm Kelleher spent hundreds of days and nights on the Skinwalker property and experienced firsthand many of its haunting mysteries.
With investigative reporter George Knapp - the only journalist allowed to witness and document the team's work - Kelleher chronicles the spectacular happenings the team observed personally and the theories of modern physics behind the phenomena. Far from the coldly detached findings one might expect, their conclusions are a clarion call to expand our vision far beyond what we know.

If it is all true!!
Beautiful breakdown of phenomena and activities that happen on the ranch but more so a human telling through rational explanation about how to explain this.
It doesn’t help that knowing all this could be true but it’s calming to know that even the brightest are wrong. It’s frustrating to know that their hubris keeps them close minded. Great book

A thought provoking read
Often I find accounts like this eventually settle on a definition of what phenomena IS. This book, however, sets itself apart by overlaying scientific inquiry over human experience. Rather than defining, it presents information thoughtfully, leaving the reader to compare, adjudicate and make its own decision. An excellent work.

I personally enjoyed this book.
I have always had a fascination for the skinwalker ranch. Weird and unexplainable things have gone on there for generations. This book is a great listen, especially the back half if you are open-minded about the world we live in. We know nothing about the reality we live in, and science runs from the truth. The last 10 chapters or so will get you thinking outside of the box for sure; it was fascinating.
