Publisher's Summary

Climb the Tower. Feed the Town.

Blackmoor Cove has been pulled back from the edge of oblivion, but that doesn’t mean the fight is over. While the all-consuming Corruption pushes harder against their progress, Jack embraces his new responsibility to rebuild the broken people around him. However, none of it will last unless he enters the Tower every morning and defeats the vicious monsters within for their valuable loot drops.

With the Arcane Mage, Thymus, now in the party, they will climb higher than ever before, but will the 12 years of terrible isolation make the time-lost Hero unreliable when he once again confronts the unending nightmares found inside the Tower?

This “Crunchy” GameLIT/LitRPG story contains: item-based game mechanics, town building, countless unique monsters, boss fights, and cheaty special abilities.

Length ~ 106,600 words

Imaginative and no BS fun

This series lacks all the common tropes that I hate so much in a lot of books nowadays.
Finally there is
No weak male heroes that get humiliated nonstop by their female betters,
No sexual violence,
No woke BS,
No whining MC who constantly tells the reader how unfair everything is,
No nonstop worshiping and praising of US military,
No dumb idiot MC who wins because of completely undeserved luck ("the Land"... Yuck!) But an MC who actually uses his brain.

The whole world is extremely varied and it's never boring.
Note that this isn't a "thrill ride" by any means, but it's never bland or dull.

5 stars

It is not as good as Towers of Heaven series, the Gam3 series, Ritualist & Regicide by Dakota Krout or Shadowsun survival series. But what is. Dante's Immortality is a must read too, but it's just 1 book atm.

If you are a fan of litrpg/ gamelit/ Isekai then this is for you
Or if you just like fantasy or scifi with a twist.

Its so good! Worth the listen to

I read the book and I was already blown away, yet ti hear it down by these guys again, I was already beyond thrilled. The town building, the adventures in the tower is just so engaging. Another great job by Sound Booth Theater and Prax Venter :)

WOW absolutely everything I was hoping for.

This was an absolutely fantastic listen the amount of talent in producing this book is astounding, Jeff Hayes, Andrea Parsneau and Justin Thomas James make this a book a treat for the senses. The simply unique story and progression of this book are phenomenal it's definitely the little things that bring this book to a different level. I love the character progression and individual personalities Prax Venter makes it feel like the characters in this book are based on real people. I can't wait for the next book and to see how the story unfolds. Do yourself a favor and get this book!

Super sequel

I love the cast that Soundbooth Theater our together to narrate this book. The always put out such high quality narrations.

I really enjoyed the direction this book went. The characters are interesting and fun. It was cool that the author got to narrate a character, too.

It keeps getting better!

Great story and Narration!

Jack is back and shaking things up! New friends and stronger enemies await! The battle against the corruption continues, and it will take Jack and his teams best to stand up to that vile filth!

Soundbooth does an exceptional job with their narration!

Great world and game mechanics! If you liked the first one, then you will love this one too!

I can't wait to see what happens next!

great example of what litRPG should be

it's not often you find a author who can write on a topic such as litRPG. it's another thing entirely when you can write in several different ways and that's what you find with this author. unlike anything else I've read of his work. Yet still a great story with well defined and relatable characters that you want to get invested into.
