Not enough prescription

This book focused almost entirely on "what motivation is and why it is important".

Aside from two or three tips that are fairly common knowledge, it didn't provide any techniques for improving motivation.

Also that title suggests that it will focus on improving self-esteem, but it takes a hard right turn into the motivation bent, leaving self-esteem at the door.
