I am so in love with this series
The story is so well written and the narrator does such a good job with different voices for everyone. there are so many twists and turns and sneaky little things I'm going to have to listen again just to make sure I dodn't miss anything :) love it and can't wait for the next one

Crushed it! Fastest moving out of the series.
I was late to the Guilded Codex: demonized, which I only finished a few days ago. If you have any interest in the demonized series start it now before Lost Talismans and Tequila as there is a little bit context missing. It is best to think of This book as Conclusion Part 1 of 3. (With one more book in each the codex and demonized)
Mild spoilers:
This book adds POV from Ezra. The change in narrator threw me off. To be clear Chris still does all the voices for Tories POV. Rather than raspy soft voice the new narrator sounds like a much older dude than Ezra but for me the shock wore off by the second Ezra POV chapter. I can only describe it has Jeff Bridges trying to sound young.
While this is easily the most action packed book in both series, it is more about Torie and bringing her character development from the series to an end. The pay off is worth it.
Part of the reason why I really liked this book was that it had the M/C multitask her own identity crisis while trying to achieve her objective. Specially when you are doing something that seems impossible it feels really relatable that it would cause her to question her own character. It can feel really scattered because of the First Person Narration.
The book only leaves a few lose ends for the next book as far as bringing Robin and Tories' stories to a conclusion.
One more mild spoiler: I really hope this book is alludings to a sequel or prequel about Darius, but it is made clear that we have only scratched the surface of stories for the Crow and Hammer and its guild master.

best story ever
oh my god this one is so good. if you love something that plays with your emotions you got to listen to this book. I can't wait for the next book.
