After slaying a leviathan of the deep, and gaining a magic he barely understands, an ordinary fisherman finds himself entangled in a magical game of the gods with the fate of his planet as the prize.

Dean becomes Oakley's champion, competing in the Minotaur's Maze. He travels through a portal to Mixonia, a city of wonders, filled with magic and monster girls of all sorts. No action, makes MC a vary dull boy

This is a long and boring story, nothing really happens and plot threads go no where. The story take place on another planet, but take forever to explain how they got there, why they are here and what that even means. However there are streamers for real life work, like fishing which could in it self have been an amazing story. However that goes nowhere, the main character gets rich fishing, and super powers, then opens up a ranch with his on again off again girlfriend. All of that could have been summarized in a chapter, but 10 hours later the game part starts up. barely. So much of this book could be edited out, and nothing would be lost. There are continuity errors, unexplained plot threads, badly plotted structure to the whole book. From the writing, the author does not look over his work and just keeps writing. When it comes to characters, the main character is strong, good looking and works hard, has had many sexual encounters, and is now wealthy. This whole book goes nowhere, has the characters just handed everything they want, barely have to work for anything there is never a sense of danger or escalation of threats. Oh sure there are bad guys, but they do not seem to be doing anything, they do not interact with the main cast, there is never a justifcation for what they are doing other then, " it is what the gods want" The sex scenes are not even that good.

TLDR: Boy gets rich, boy settles down with girl, boy must save world, boy given everything, no one is at risk. The voice cast is amazing tho.
