About this listen
The world has ended, and those worthy of it have received the chance for a new life in a new reality.
Zach grew in power and thrived in the post-Framework world. He became a respected leader, a shining example of what it meant to be good. But as the world ended, he had only one thought: to punish the monster that had killed the world long before the Framework ended it. Yet not even with his incredible power was he able to stand against the World Ender. His arrival in the new realty, the Infinite Realm, gives him the chance to grow stronger, to find the monster again - and make it pay.
Ryun survived the chaos after the arrival of the Framework by pushing harder than anyone else. He grew in power until he became the most powerful being that had ever walked the planet; but he is hated by the world, called a monster by all others, the World Ender. As the world ends and he steps into a new one, where people stronger than him have lived for centuries, he finds himself lost and without purpose. The only thing that had mattered to him had been lost to him long ago. He truly was the monster that people considered him to be, and he now finds himself wondering if this new reality has a place for someone like him - but he had never been one for lying down and dying without a fight. One world fell to his power, and another might follow.

Eric was as shocked as everyone else when the apocalypse struck, but unlike his mother's movie, there were no chosen heroes destined to fight the beast hordes now overrunning the planet. Just people trying desperately to survive. Yet there was a glimmer of hope that humanity could hold on to. A chosen few really could level up in this brave new world, and embrace magic, adventure, and the potential for limitless power!

Story
When the cultivators came to Earth, they destroyed our entire civilization in a matter of hours. Armies fell, cities burned, and that was before the moon turned red and filled our world with monsters. Now, over a decade later, what's left of humanity slaves under the heels of our Qi-infused masters. The luckiest of us might even become one of them, they say—if we serve the Dynasty well enough and harness the power of Qi. But I want none of that. I'm sick of serving, and I want nothing to do with their world. Instead, I want them to pay for what they did to mine.

Story
Orodan was an orphaned street rat who clawed his way to the county militia with hard work. When calamitous events unfold and draw him into events bigger than himself, Orodan's battle-loving disposition leads to a warrior's death. Then he wakes up again at the start of the Cataclysm. Then again. And again. In a world of skills, titles, and blessings, a smart time-looper would perhaps scheme, plan, amass equipment, and allies. But not Orodan. If there's one thing he's good at, it's stubbornly trying the same thing over and over again via brute force till it's done.

There's a split timeline where events from the past are told in a few chapters, then events from the present, and back and forth as such. I found it made it difficult to follow the plot progression quite often.
Good but difficult
Something went wrong. Please try again in a few minutes.
I would tie it back to those who learn, practice and perfect, versus those who read the game guide to find where a over powered weapon is so they can hack and slash there way through it. If you appreciate the game and the time it takes to become good and all the little activities you need to engage in to truly know, then this book will resonate.
As with martial arts, practice and routine and a system make you strong. So the approach to power and respecting those who also understand power and how to achieve it through understanding and will is consistent.
The look at morality and the laws of the land you are in are also well explored. Peoples comfort levels with what they know versus what they don’t understand or their own views and imposing them on others is a good theme, that I can only tie back to rpg’s and people who play them understand their in game morality doesn’t need to match their in life morality.
I liked it alot.
