this instalment of beneath the dragon eye moons can be considered book 12.5 in the series. it sets up context for what is most likely the immortal war, progresses time forward, and includes important events that happened during that time.

altogether fantastic writing and narrating as always.😊

Story:
It's kind of short, and the adventure MC went to is mostly prep work. The actual adventure itself feels like a short vacation. With the amount of time skips, this whole book feels like an interlude. The author even skipped a class up (not sure I'm relieved or annoyed about this).
