Really hope there’s a sequel! Awesome characters, plot, and performance. It saddens me that there doesn’t appear to be a sequel published yet, and I can’t tell if the author is working on one or not, but they should!

The MC acts like his background. His back story doesn't go away with the new world, but the reality of the new world seeps into him and thus draws you along.

Everything is not explained. From the MC point of view you don't get to see the big picture why and how until and unless the MC would.

The harem is explained in a way that at that point in the story makes strategic sense. Good storytelling allows you to suspend your disbelief and enjoy the ride. This one did.
