Powerful story
What a journey this story takes you on. An emotional and raw look at the reality of life for many indigenous women in Canada. The story is a roller coaster ride of emotions: anger, sadness, frustration and then excitement and joy as you take the journey with her. From the start of the book you embrace and want to protect Brandi. Every chapter was like a story unto itself.

What an amazing story
Brandi’s vulnerable memoir is beautiful and polished from a technical perspective but raw and vivid from an emotional standpoint. This is a story people need to hear, not just to understand her journey, but to understand our journey towards Reconciliation. This is beautiful, important work.

Exquisitely told! Absolutely must read and share!
I could not get enough of this book! I am drawn into each word and captivated by the entire story. Thank you for sharing your work and life story. So impeccably written and beautifully told. I can't wait for more from Brandi Morin! I'm going to share it with everyone who is interested. The world cannot ignore this story anymore. How incredibly brave and beautiful to share this with the world. I cannot say enough good about this work. It is a must read!
