Impressed

After reading the negative reviews including the one saying the MC went all weak and his girl bosses him around etc along those lines. I was definitely concerned. However after finishing this book I am still not sure what that person was talking about. Maybe they were listening to a different book and messed up with the review. I was rather impressed not only with the progression of each character the story and the expectation of the future books. I listen to a lot of books. I’ve got over 100 in my library and I’ve completed them all. I don’t always write reviews I will rate them as long as I like them. This was solid.

Good, though edited badly

This author need some help with word usage and consistency. What is with the DP? In the last book and this one, the maximum available was said to be 20,000, then 50,000, then 156,000 or something like that. Then in this book, big project started only requiring 300, or 800, or similar low number is below 1000. And yet they were lamented as if they could not be accomplished with the available points. Obviously there was 1000s multiplier issue here, but it made the writing inconsistent and took me out of the story because I knew that the characters were wrong from what happened earlier.
I like the greater character development in this, and there were a couple of interesting twists that took things in directions I was not expecting. Even some things I thought I had figured out in the last book, turned out to be wrong. I have not yet determined if that is a good thing.
Of course, if you have gotten this far in the series, you need to read this book, as the big showdown that has been building for several of them finally happens here.

Pretty good book with a couple of small problems.

I have to say overall this book is great. It’s enjoyable and I like the ending. That being said there are two things that bothered me. The first is the Mc relationship with his gf. Most of the book has them together with her kind of being bossy about everything. It’s not fun to watch your main character get chewed out by his gf about every decision he makes. The second is him constantly saying “I love you” as if he’s about to sacrifice himself. It was like every time he got in danger he got super dramatic.

Good pacing I like where this is going

I find myself more and more intrigued to see how this world is being built. I am also interested to see where the character development eventually winds up. I like these books in the series hopefully it will not slow down any.

Love the series

As usual and just like the last books in the series, this was top quality writing. Too short for me, I wanted more. Can’t wait for book 5

great addition to the series

admittedly I'm more of a fan of codename freedom but this series has grown on me. if you liked the past couple then you won't be disappointed by this one and if you are looking at this one to decide about the series as a while then I'd recommend it even if it isn't typically the style you enjoy.
