Priceless

Started out well...
...but quickly divulged into anecdotes from the Bible and Buddhism and praying. Pleeeease, just for once someone write a book without religion it. No, stories about magical transformational events of Jesus and Buddha are not relatable, it just undermines the whole message. I wish Amazon had a religious blabber filter.
Also, I just finished reading 7 Habits of Highly Effective People, and this books has leaned VERY heavily on some parts of 7 Habits. With “leaning” I mean possibly replicating content without crediting.
All in all, disappointing and irritating. Do yourself a favor and save some money and just read about the RAIN acronym.

THE BEST self-help book I have ever read.
I’ve listened to this book three times now. Tara Brach is changing my life in the most positive ways possible. I highly recommend this book for anyone feeling lonely, unlovable, damaged, and like they just don’t fit in. A wonderful book
I've been studying eastern philosophy and mindfulness for a number of years now and I found this book to be absolutely wonderful in solidifying many of the difficult concepts and ideas present in these systems.
