Much improved & fast paced

Great story and author’s writing has vastly improved. Similarity, the narrator is better here than earlier books.

intriguing plot keeps up the level of interest throughout

I thought I had read all the early Reacher books but must have missed this one so when I saw it on sale it was an easy purchase decision. The story grabs your interest right away with multiple subtle plot turns helped with convincing narration. Finished listening in a few days and realized why I really enjoyed that original Reacher era (more so than the more recent high action unconvincing story lines).

Great story

Another great Reqcher book! The story line is good. Narration is okay. I would recommend a listen.

Jack Reacher

Running blind is the fourth book in the jack Reacher series. Jack Reacher is approached by the FBI about a serial killer that has killed three women that he has a connection with. In this book jack realizes that he does not want to own anything. He has a desire to let his inner hobo demon out to travel and stay in cheap motels. This book kept me guessing who the real killer was. I would give this book 5 stars.

Impossible premise

I had to suspend my disbelief for this one and for a mystery. That’s not a good thing. Also, some of the voices chosen for the characters seemed stereotypical

Lagging story

The story is generally good but there are many sections where the story lags . It was a good book but not the best Reacher story that I have listened to.

the characters were great

the pace was good and the tones for the different characters. the emotions were conveyed well

Running Blind

Terrible narration. Could not wait to finish this book and not in a good way. The story itself was interesting but every time the narrator had to read the part of a woman it was grating on the ears. Also the writing could have been better.

Not very believable

The way the FBI talk to Reacher is totally unbelievable and their childlike attitude distracted from the story. The narrator was OK but not great.

Great Series

If you plan on listening to this book, I strongly suggest you read/listen to the earlier books in the series to get some background. otherwise I would recommend this to anyone looking for a thrilling read/listen.
