At first, I struggled with the presentation, but the narrator got into the part(s) and then I got into the story... and couldn't break away.
I really enjoyed the book and would recommend it to everyone who enjoyed book one of Moonlight Bay.
Okay, Mr Koontz -- bring on part three (I'm stoked).
