Beautifully done
I have ready this book numerous times, getting something different out of it every time. This book is funny and relatable, Lindy puts words to feelings I never knew how to articulate. I think everyone should read this book!

Love this audio book!!!
This book is amazing and I love that Lindy narrated it. I would love to say what I specifically love about it but it’s all just so awesome. I do really enjoy Hello I’m Fat though. Great listen and it makes it all that much better that Lindy narrated it.

Must read for men and women!
An important lesson in empathy, and how our actions do not occur in a vacuum. Well read and beautifully written. Lindy is so articulate in how she explains complex issues and yet she manages to do so in a way that is relatable and accessible to all. I wish I read this book in my teens! I wish our society would amplify the voices of women like her! We could learn so much, and avoid so much unecessary pain.

Must Listen
I must live under a rock, because I did not know who Lindy West was before listening to her book. Well, she is candid, funny, completely raw, and I think each and every woman will laugh and cry and totally fall in love with her, just as I did. Yes, it’s helpful for the HAES and body positive crew (which I hope someday soon will be everyone), but everyone will get some major takeaways from this read and hopefully start to realize the stigmatizing things happening in our culture are capable of changing. As someone with thin privilege, I especially appreciated her recounts of her struggles fighting fat stigma. If everyone listened to this book I think it could create a ripple of change among us. Everyone deserves equal treatment. Stories like Lindy’s, and the work she is doing, fill my heart with hope for a better world. Thank you, Lindy. We owe you so much for your brave crusade.

If you're a fat woman, you need this book.
This book is everything good.
Funny. Honest. Relatable. Validating.
Lindy West is an exceptional writer and fantastic narrator. If you grew up in a fat female body, you need to read this book... probably more than once.

Sharp, Intelligent & Witty
I was browsing Audible looking to listen to something that was short that I could enjoy in just one sitting. I listened the the sample and enjoyed listening to narrator’s voice. Narration can make or break an audiobook for me. I was not expecting the book to be as good as it is. I’d never heard of Lindy West before but now I will read any book she writes. She hits on some serious topics and the book is very thought provoking. I definitely recommend this book.
