About Sidney Crosby
The nine-time NHL All-Star has also starred internationally for Team Canada on several occasions, including winning gold medals in both the 2010 and 2014 Olympic Games, with his overtime goal in the 2010 gold medal game against the United States known as the ''Golden Goal.'' In May 2015, Crosby became the 26th player to enter the International Ice Hockey Federation’s (IIHF) Triple Gold Club, achieved by winning the Stanley Cup and gold medals at both the Olympics and World Championship.
Crosby, a two-time Emmy Award winner, has multiple commitments to community and charitable efforts. He founded both the Sidney Crosby Foundation and Sidney Crosby's Little Penguins program, which has provided free hockey equipment and lessons to over 13,000 youths in the Pittsburgh area since 2008. He has also purchased a private suite at PPG Paints Arena for over 15 years, which he has reserved for use by children's charities in the Pittsburgh area. Crosby is a native of Cole Harbour, Nova Scotia.
About the Host
Manganiello recently wrapped production in Ireland on the upcoming series Moonhaven, scheduled to premiere on AMC in 2023. His recent credits include The Smith’s indie feature Shoplifters of the World, as well as the indie feature Archenemy. Both films are produced by his company, 359. Joe reteamed with Zack Snyder for the upcoming Netflix series Army of the Dead as well as appeared in The Snyder Cut of Justice League on HBO Max.
He currently serves on the board of trustees for UPMC Children’s Hospital of Pittsburgh.

Great to listen to.
Don't know hockey much but make u appreciate how top athletes go through and become one.

Canada’s Golden Kid
I am a big hockey fan, Canadian hockey fan to be exact and I found this book very eye opening. It was interesting to hear about Crosby’s youth at home and in hockey. We saw him entering the NHL at the age of 18 but I don’t think I truly grasped how young that was at that time. To the fans he was a hockey player just entering the league, like many before him. I’m happy he has done so well for Canada and even the Penguins. He deserves to be respected for all he has done, he’s definitely earned it. Congratulations to Sidney!
Ps ( I once held a sign that said “Sidney marry my daughter”. At a Toronto Maple Leaf Game 😀

Excellent - I'd give it 87 stars if I could!
Loved this...had a hard time turning it off! If you're a fan of Sid or just a fan of hockey in general, I would highly recommend this.

Sidney Crosby
An excellent biography of Sidney’s first year with the Penguins with just enough introduction to explain why he was chosen as the most sought after rookie by all NHL teams. I just wish that Halifax would have had an NHL team so that he could have played here. However, we still think of Sidney as one of us since his roots are here and I like to think that his work ethics are founded in his Nova Scotia boyhood.
