Publisher's Summary

I felt the wind rustle, warning me, telling me to get out of its path - but I didn't. I never stood a chance.

A series of weather and road mishaps leave me trapped in the middle of a blizzard with a complete stranger. In the back of a pickup truck. For 48 freakin' hours.

A stranger with long hair, tattoos, and rippling with muscle. A stranger with an insanely sexy voice and a wicked smile that turns my insides to jelly. A stranger who holds me in his arms, calms me, and then sets a fire in me that I can't put out.

Some people chase storms for the beautiful thrill. What happens when the storm chases you?

Contains mature themes.

Relatable

The book was very relatable, especially for people who have suffered from grief as well as for people who stay in the same place because they feel it’s comfortable or they can never achieve higher

Very cute story! 😍

I loved this story, it was very cute. I love that the series follows each family member in their own unique love story. Some stories are more tragic than others. I started reading Torn and Tied first and those books are what got me hooked on these 2 families first. This is a great book if you enjoy opposites attract, light banter and witnessing people put down their walls and connecting in a deep level in the oddest of circumstances. Storm is so charming, charismatic and enticing in every way. I really enjoyed this narrator, she does both the male and female voices well. The female character is very spastic , whinny and stressed so the narrator does a good job doing that without it being annoying for the listener. I am hooked and can’t wait to start the next book in the series: Vandal.

I wish I could give more than 5 stars❤️

Very cute story!!
CJ Bloom’s narration took it to next level!! I have all the audio books by this author. Lukas in kindle reading but that too I had to get as audiobook! Narrators have deliciously put life in these beauties ❤️ this is the second time I have started listening to this complete series! Can’t wait to get more books from this author. Asher, Storm, Lukas , Vandal all audiobooks in this series are highly recommended for romance genre lovers❤️❤️❤️❤️

Hero’s voice ruined by narrator

I actuallly liked this book but only by ignoring how bad de male narration was (this narrator should NEVER do the hero’s voice)
Also, female character is an idiot :-/ It’s unfortunate because this book could have been spectacular

I'm not sure

I think this may be a good book. I'm not sure If I found the characters annoying and immature, because that's the way they were written or because of the narrator. She doesn't have a great range of voices and all the male ones and most the female ones weren't that good. My biggest issue is that I feel like I was being shouted at the whole book. I dont know if I will read the next one or not. but that's just my humble opinion

Readable but ...

The story was cute and the characters were realistic BUT... everytime the MMC lights a cigarette I want to stop reading. I get that this was used a literary device to indicate he's a bit of a scary rebel, but it's hard to imagine him as a great book boyfriend when you knows that he smells like cigarettes - that is not sexy - at least to me. Book boyfriends are suppose to look and smell good, dress well, and not be too hairy - unrealistic - yes but it's a fantasy right? I did like some of the scenes in the truck and when she is sick and I like how he supported her finding herself. Plus calling her 'cute' always gets me.

Also, I definitely prefer dual narration. Female narrators doing the voices for the MMC always throws me off.
