Publisher's Summary

Want to close more investment deals...and make more money in the process?

When the real estate market gets hot, it’s the investors who know the ins and outs of negotiating with sellers (and with agents, banks, contractors, and other institutions) who will get the deal. And it’s those same investors who will get their properties sold for top dollar and minimal stress!

With almost 1,000 successful deals between them, real estate investors J Scott, Mark Ferguson, and Carol Scott combined real-world experience and the science of negotiation to create an audiobook covering all aspects of the real estate negotiation process - from the first interaction with a buyer or seller to renegotiating the contract after a bad inspection or appraisal.

Containing dozens of true-life stories highlighting how strong negotiation skills can result in more and better deals, this audiobook includes lots of samples of dialogue that will teach you both what to say and how to say it in order to maximize your chances of reaching a profitable deal.

Inside, you'll discover:

  • How to uncover and use information to tip negotiating outcomes in your favor
  • Strategies for defining optimal first offers and subsequent counteroffers
  • Techniques for in-the-trenches negotiating and overcoming objections
  • Tips for conquering tactics employed by those on the other side
  • Techniques for using concessions to get your deal to the finish line
  • The blueprint to renegotiating issues that arise from contract contingencies
  • How to overcome the challenges of making and receiving offers through agents
  • Strategies to get the best deals when buying properties from banks and the HUD
  • And so much more!

great info but the narration and sound are awful

struggling to finish even though I really want to learn this material. the issue is the sound engineer or whoever's in charge of the studio feels the need to insert a damn triple hammer blow or a stupid bicycle bell every few sentences. ABSOLUTELY INFURIATING TO LISTEN TO IN HEADPHONES!!!

switching between the make and female narrator every other paragraph is also extremely distracting and I garl to understand why there's two different voices narrating this instructional text.

while trying to focus on the words im distracted beyond description in fear of that damn hammer and knocking noise and high pitched bell blowing out my ears.

the negotiating skills taught are pretty helpful and this is the only book I've found in the subject matter.

One of the most information packed two book I’ve ever read!

Mark Ferguson and team did an excellent job of giving chunks of information as well as providing easy to digest examples of how to use it. There’s so much information in this book that I’ll probably read this once every month or so!

Good book annoying ding

Overall the material in the book was really good however the quick tips that show up are incredibly annoying. There is a waaaaay to loud ding sound that hurts to hear. If they would get rid of the sound effect I would easily give it a 5 of 5.

Good information but. . .

There are lots of good bits of information but the “quick tip” ding is the most annoying thing I’ve heard in an audiobook! The actual tips are helpful but the bell ring is distracting and very annoying

A Must Read In Any Investors Toolbox

Not a bad read/listen. Something that any R.E. Investor could find helpful, especially if just starting out. I myself found some very informative strategies that could be used. This book is beneficial in my personal arsenal of tools.

Amazing

I wish I read this book when I initially started my real estate career. I would have done so much more.
