Sadly Lost Credibility!

I was enjoying the science based information. Good perspective and a good basic idea of how to make progress. Then Wham! The author declairs using a physic medium to make real life choices and explains her belief in the guidance of dead people. Losing all credibility. Mediums are greef vampires and she lends them her credibility thereby throwing it away. In an effort to add some new age spiritualism she loses touch and abandoned her scientific basis. I was sad and had to toss out any value in this book based on such a irrational perspective.

Mel is the fucking BEST!!

First of all, Mel is now my best friend 🥰
I loved this so much I didn't want it to end!
Mel made me laugh, she gave me tears, she made me say "AHA yesssss", she made me smile, she made me feel sadness, she gave me goosebumps, she made me think and see where my next steps are!
I hung on her every word!
Mel, I want to launch a podcast! And I see hearts everywhere! I actually have a stone heart on my dresser that says "Find beauty in the every day". I've done this for years
If you read or listen to the book you'll understand this 🥰
I loved this book immensely! I love Mel incredibly!
In fact, I'm going to go listen to it and her again! 💞💞

Is there more?

I’m about an hour in, and I have yet to hear anything else than give yourself a high five in the mirror every morning. Is there more after this? Is this a joke? A scam? Are all the reviews fake? This can’t be it.

This book is golden encrusted with diamonds! 👑

Recently got this book and man oh man it feels like it was right moment right time to be listening to it.
With all the excellent advice, humour and genuine passion to want to help you, Mel Robbin’s The High 5 Habit is definitely a book for anyone who needs to snap out of a funk or gain the motivation needed to keep going and not giving up on their dreams or wanting a better life despite fighting fear and anxiety. Amazing!!!

Loved this book so much! Mel’s honesty, straightforwardness, and emotion really made this book. I could not stop listening to it and honestly will probably listen to it again and again. I felt so empowered and started high-fiving myself after the first chapter, and haven’t stopped yet. Highly recommend!

It's literally useless

I understand what this book is trying to do but it's equivalent of "Make your bed in the morning" story. except it says high five yourself in the mirror in the morning.

Give us some serious substance not some recycled stories.

Narrator issues.

This is basically a story about how accomplished this author is. She the most influential, most popular, most sought out, and so on and so on… it gets extremely over done hearing her continuing running through her accolades. She does different(annoying)voices in the narration, which were often mood killers. Essentially, we coulda saved 6 hours by her just saying, “look in the mirror, truly believe in yourself, and give yourself a high five when you look in the mirror.” The end.

Life Changing- this book is gift to yourself!

I began high 5ing myself in the mirror prior to reading this book (follower of Mel on social media) I felt "dumb" and stopped. I binged listened to this book- amazing listen - in 48 hours. I have started high 5ing me again- and I get it! Often with tears and smiles of new learning love for myself (like taking my first steps at 54 yrs young!)- I am again high 5ing myself every morning. I also high five my heart many times a day--something powerful is happening within me. I walked into an abusive hostile job 2 days ago and resigned. What's next? I am not sure- but it is going to be incredible- because- all of the sudden- I am the author of my path forward, not a victim of my past! Will it be easy? no way! But- "I got this!" Thank you Mel- you gave me hope and my wings to fly. I write this with fresh tears and a high five to you Mel Robbins- for the gift YOU have given to me. Thank you!

You did it again girl! A book full of endless inspiration, motivation and stories and concepts that truly hit every single thing that's ever plagued and those that have truly delighted you in some way. MEL hits a HOMERUN AGAIN!!!

You HAVE to read this book! It’s changed my life at 53 years old! Let me say, however, that the Audible version is the way to soak in all the scientifically backed knowledge by a motivational speaker! Of course you have to listen to it!

Give yourself a high-5!

I've been a fan of Mel Robbins ever since I got the "5 Second Rule" audiobook a few years ago. I've heard all of her books but I haven't followed her podcast. I saw one of her TV Shows, I think it was the first one, I really can't stand TV (in general,) but I love her books. So I pre-ordered this one months ago, and it finally came out and I'm glad I was between books so I can take it on right away. I love the chapters on jealousy and guilt are really well done and chapter 14 was just AWESOME! She couldn't even read it without tearing up! Just totally lovely! Overall the book provides great advice mainly for being kind to yourself. Self care & love cannot be expressed enough, and she nails it and makes it very actionable! She is very entertaining with her f-bombs in the audiobook, a little tamer in the Kindle version :-) I will try high 5'ing myself in the mirror and see how it goes!

A great "How To Book" to get your life in order!

I have served in the US Army for over 20 years. and many of the tool Mel Robbins shared in this book are many of the same ones I have personally used to navigate during my career. Now as a small business owner, Mel has brought these tools and skills set back into my life. Much needed and right on time.

Mel Robbins has done it again

Mel is one of my favorite self development speakers. She is authentic, real, and gives you REAL & ACTIONABLE advice. She covers every day problems and how we can conquer them with simple and easy tasks. She's also a great and engaging narrator for her book. Excellent book!
