Experience an Isekai culture clash as a laid-back Australian finds himself in a very serious world. See him gain suspiciously evil powers through a unique progression system combining cultivation and traditional LitRPG elements. Enjoy a weak-to-strong story with a main character who earns his power without overshadowing everyone around him, with plenty of loot, adventurers, gods and magic. Rich characters and world-building offer humor, political intrigue, and slice-of-life elements alongside lots of monster fighting and adventure.

Awesome!!!!
I am a big fan of RPGs and I genuinely love the fact that these books incorporate the elements that make up a good RPG.
You also couldn't have asked a better voice actor to perform the books.
As a whole I find myself fully immersed in the story to the point where I feel as though it is my own life.

pretty good overall. so many prompts!
the story is interesting and the main character is far from dull. the main problem I see is just how many prompts Richter receives. I know they're needed to show what he receives because it's based like a game. but some of the prompts arent even useful. they're things he decides not to keep and a lot can most definitely be mentioned off handedly. "And Richter also found some low level rings. He didn't find them all that useful since they were all for a sub trait he had no use in." boom done.

Beware the attack of the vulgarian
OK, the title is a little strong. But I started listening to this series in part based on an Audible recommendation as I was looking for audio books my sons might like. They loved Book 1. When we started listening to book 2, I noticed that the language was getting a bit more vulgar. More swearing and more sexual innuendo. This book, the third one, was off the charts. Plenty of F bombs, B bombs and a few MF bombs. Lots of sexual innuendo. Really adolescent stuff, and not in a good way. I told my boys they need to find the series in a library because I am not downloading any more of these! Really disappointed in the direction the series took.

Another great book
Just like all the other books, this is yet another great title! Time to start the next one in the series! What a great story Coupled with the perfect narrator! I'm getting scared because I'm about to start the last one available on audible, however Kong has said the the other 2 are in the way. The only gripe I have is a small one and is expected in all RPG games and that is the fact that there are more missions abound than the ones that are getting resolved. I do understand this is job security in a way. However, at the current list of task and the time it takes to complete one, we will need another 5 books just to solve the current workload. Anyways, I still stand by the fact that this is my number 1 series in books ever done! Invest in your imagination! Slay your enemies, Honor your allies, Live!

Hey this is a good stor-OHMYGODWHATTHEFUC&
So the book is a good continuation of a good story until the author vividly describes the process of slowly sawing off the main character's dick with a dull knife then feeding it to him. I think I'm emotionally scarred permanently. I mean, I generally view myself as a fairly impassive reader but this was insane! Like, honestly, don't read this nightmare if you're a dude.

Cripple Fight
TLDR; Author uses the phrase "cripple fight".
I never write reviews, but this was so bad that I need to write this. At the beginning of this book a dwarf and gnome are about to get into a fist fight and the main character has to retrain himself from shouting "CRIPPLE FIGHT". If this is something you're okay with then be my guest and continue listening to the rest of the book/series. This is my final straw for this series. There were a lot of questionable things that I hoped would get better throughout the series. However, this shows that he has no intention of doing that.
