Awesome!!!!

I am a big fan of RPGs and I genuinely love the fact that these books incorporate the elements that make up a good RPG.

You also couldn't have asked a better voice actor to perform the books.

As a whole I find myself fully immersed in the story to the point where I feel as though it is my own life.

excessive body horror

Book is pretty cavalier with grotesque levels of mutilation and SA. Worst example of both is when there is a drawn-out scene where a dude has his genitals cut off with a dull knife and fed to him. if that's not your cup of tea you've been warned.

disappointing

I Iiked the first two very much, and the performance on this was just as good as the others. However, I struggled with the story. the repeated stupidity of the protagonist kept breaking my suspension of disbelief. I mean once shame on you, but 6 plus times? Also I struggled with inconsistencies in the story between levels and threat (a level 13 was an earth shattering impossible threat, but then a 40 was hard but doable).

Bad

First two books were a bit cringey at moments, thought they might get better. This takes a run off in the worst direction.

very meh

love the narration on this but the story past the first book just feels like it's a lot of nothing. the main character is a bit obnoxious for my liking and the humor just doesn't hit. first book was pretty interesting but I find myself wanting to yell at the main character.

the series isn't bad. I've just listened to similar stories that were better. I like most of the dialogue. its the inner thoughts of the main character that just bugs me.

3 books in and no desire to continue.

book has a bit (id say 5%)of city management which is a nice break from the rest

Amazeballs

honestly so satisfying listening to him become so powerful, although it is a tad bit frustrating having him fight super strong opponents with his weak spells...

pretty good overall. so many prompts!

the story is interesting and the main character is far from dull. the main problem I see is just how many prompts Richter receives. I know they're needed to show what he receives because it's based like a game. but some of the prompts arent even useful. they're things he decides not to keep and a lot can most definitely be mentioned off handedly. "And Richter also found some low level rings. He didn't find them all that useful since they were all for a sub trait he had no use in." boom done.

Overall a good read/listen

Does not disappoint.

One wild and utterly enjoyable ride. Excellent narration. If these stories didn't lens themselves so we'll to binge listening I would have gotten so much more done today.
Eagerly awaiting the next installment(s).

Still really loving the land

Characterizations, plotlines that are intricately interwoven, action, adventure, comedy, high drama, what's not to like?

Yeah, the alerts can get old, but if you were gaming you'd be dealing with them too, so what the heck. :-)

Beware the attack of the vulgarian

OK, the title is a little strong. But I started listening to this series in part based on an Audible recommendation as I was looking for audio books my sons might like. They loved Book 1. When we started listening to book 2, I noticed that the language was getting a bit more vulgar. More swearing and more sexual innuendo. This book, the third one, was off the charts. Plenty of F bombs, B bombs and a few MF bombs. Lots of sexual innuendo. Really adolescent stuff, and not in a good way. I told my boys they need to find the series in a library because I am not downloading any more of these! Really disappointed in the direction the series took.

Another great book

Just like all the other books, this is yet another great title! Time to start the next one in the series! What a great story Coupled with the perfect narrator! I'm getting scared because I'm about to start the last one available on audible, however Kong has said the the other 2 are in the way. The only gripe I have is a small one and is expected in all RPG games and that is the fact that there are more missions abound than the ones that are getting resolved. I do understand this is job security in a way. However, at the current list of task and the time it takes to complete one, we will need another 5 books just to solve the current workload. Anyways, I still stand by the fact that this is my number 1 series in books ever done! Invest in your imagination! Slay your enemies, Honor your allies, Live!

Can't listen to it in the car with the kids due to all the foul language. Too bad, it's an interesting story.

omg they just keep getting better

wow just finnished and i cant wait for the next book. Have you ever read a book and thought they just cant get any better. Well they do, every book in this series gets better than the last. Let me say this, it is well worth the read or listen in this case, so get this book and if you haven't gotten the first 2 get them to.

A. Litrpg FATHER. WHAT A JOKE

it's a fun story but not worth the money it's a mix of a frat boy with boring sexual jokes and it feels as if the story never changes the character doesnt develop at all. if you are looking for one of those resourceful, many steps ahead, smart mc you are out of luck big time
