Publisher's Summary
The final skull has been found. Now, all hell's breaking loose.
For 2,000 years, the Triarii have protected us, influencing history from the Crusades to the discovery of America. Descending from the Roman Empire, they pervade every level of society and are now in a race with our own government to retrieve an ancient artifact thought to have been lost forever.
Caught in the middle is archaeology professor James Acton, relentlessly hunted by the elite Delta Force, under orders to stop at nothing to possess what he has found, and the Triarii, equally determined to prevent the discovery from falling into the wrong hands.
With his students and friends dying around him, Acton flees to find the one person who might be able to help him, but little does he know he may actually be racing directly into the hands of an organization he knows nothing about.
From USA Today and million copy best-selling author J. Robert Kennedy comes The Protocol, the first entry in an action-packed, globe-spanning series of thrillers certain to leave you breathless.
If you enjoy fast-paced adventures in the style of Dan Brown, Clive Cussler, and James Rollins, then you’ll love this taut tale of archaeological suspense.
Get The Protocol now, and dig up a thriller 2,000 years in the making....

Promising New Series
If you’re reading this review to see if the book is worth a credit, let me help:
1. Do you like most or all of the books you’ve heard RC Bray narrate? If so, buy this book. It’s consistent with your favorite Bray-related books.
2. Did you like one or more Indian Jones books/movies? If so, you’ll love this book.
3. Do you like books involving military and/or spec ops teams written by someone that has done sufficient enough research to get the lingo correct? If so, you’ll like this book.
4. Are you looking for a new series to dive into? This is it.
Action-packed; great character development; a unique, intriguing plot; secret societies with reach into the most powerful levels of government; a bit of romance (but not too much); and a handful of heroes to root for.
I can’t wait for book two.
Definitely worth a credit

A New Favorite!
This book has become one of my new favorite books. It's a fast pass thriller that combines Indiana Jones with Jack Ryan. I can not wait for the next book in the series. Also if you aren't a member yet, check out 50 Shades of Bray (Official) Facebook group for great behind the scenes and special appearances.

Robert Kennedy & RC Bray Hit it Out of the Park
An amazing start to a new series. Kennedy writes a great action thriller and RC Bray brings the pages to life. Ancient archeology, secret societies, and misguided governments lead this epic charge into the history books. Check it out, you won't be disappointed. Most importantly download this book now.

RC BRAY could not save this story!
Add all the action you can think of, make up a story of all kinds of goofy things and you would have this novel. Action and shooting during an unbelievable storyline. Just bad.

don't waste your time or money
the story is bad i mean REALLY bad, there isn't ANYTHING that is believable about this that worth spending money on. R C Bray did was the only thing saving this piece of literary garbage.

Buckle up and hold on!
Wow, what a ride... from the mountains of Peru to the English countryside J. Robert Kennedy leads you through a maze of action and intrigue. Rich characters are found throughout and the author brings you right beside them as they live and die (ouch). A great story with shades of "The Da Vinci Code", I HIGHLY recommend this book. Add to a fantastic story the unbelievable talent(s) of J.C. Bray and a you have a winner.

unbelievable story
RC Bray did great, story was just a bit too far fetched. Many parts of the story just seem way to unrealistic. Too many times during it I was left shaking my head.
