Two criticisms

I listen to this all the time.
I have two criticisms:
1. No table of contents. So I made my own (included)
2. The narrator speaks slowly in Genesis. But he speeds up and by the New Testament I think he speaks too fast.

Table of contents by part and chapter.

Do these people even know what a Bible is?

Very rarely does a person think to themselves, "I would like to go through the entire Bible, beginning to end, and hear everything in that order." Sure, it's nice once in a while to go through the whole thing but really a Bible is for going to a specific part and reading small chunks at a time. Here they've just divided it into unlabelled chapters so if you are looking to read a specific book or chapter of the Bible you really just have to take your best guess at where it is. It's terribly inconvenient and rather ruins the entire point of having the audiobook at all.

The performance by the voice actor was great, I must say. He wasn't trying to needlessly dramatize things or act out different voices. He was just a guy with a good voice, reading me a good book. I could really get immersed in it. Too bad the whole thing is wasted on a navigation system that really should have been an obvious no-no from the start.

need to implement book separations

the books really need to be separated by the book title, and actual book chapters.
Or at least give the user the ability to re-label items such as headings and chapters.

It's the best, but...

The voice only narration by Bob Souer was spot on throughout: perfect diction and enunciation. While there was no attempt to "perform" any of the parts, the reading was anything but dry. I was able to absorb and visualize the stories just as though I were reading it myself, no surprising changes of emphasis or other attempts to colour the stories.

The only problem I had, which affected me greatly, is that the 16 parts are not uniform - they vary greatly in size - and are not titled or described. If you open part nine for example, there is no way to tell in advance which parts of the Bible it contains. Similarly, if you decide that you would like to hear the words of 2 Timothy 4, you will find it difficult to locate.

Wonderful gift, accessible truth.

An inexhaustible treasure, daily relevant. An interface between eternity and tomorrow, between man and God.

Love it:)

When I first started using this to help me read along with my Bible there were no chapter headings but they fixed that❤️
I am able to go through the Bible in a year just doing three chapters, a part of a psalm and part of a proverb. Soooooo happy

Love to listen, hard to navigate

Needs a book and chapter reference. It’s difficult to navigate unless you just listen beginning to end

No chapter titles

Very unhelpful having not labeled the chapters.
Where was the forethought on that? Disappointing.

Wonderfully Read

This is the most wonderful audio Bible I’ve ever heard! Bob Sauer reads so naturally and beautifully with a voice that is very easy to listen to. I love that it is possible to speed up or slow down the reading speed with very minimal distortion to the reader’s voice. The only thing I found disappointing is that there are no chapter references, merely chapter numbers 1-1189. I will have to keep a reference list on my phone and/or create 66 bookmarks (one for each book of the Bible) so I can find my way around this Bible. However, despite this inconvenience, I still highly recommend it.
