How is it the best one yet?
Damn near speechless. I thought since it was a while since i read the last one my love for the series would have faded. But it was rekindled and burning brighter than ever in the first few minutes. I don't know how he does it, but Will Wight takes what SHOULD be a complicated magic system, and what SHOULD be complicated fights and makes them remarkably easy to follow and visualize. Every tail swipe, every laser beam, every sword slash. The narrator also does a fantastic job at voicing the different characters and their attributes. Will if your reading this, take some time off see some family, celebrate the success of this book, and then PLEASE start the next book. Because until then im unsouled.

Exceptional.
Underlord was good. Blackflame was good. WINTERSTEEL is on a whole 'nother level. Will knows how to pull on your heart strings, feed you just enough to want more. Throw everything at you, and only then does the image solidify. This was an exceptional entry into the series, has to be my top book for Cradle. I cannot wait to see what happens next . 6/5 , 11/10. Will read again.

Absolute masterpiece
I have always viewed authors as simply storytellers or creative people. This book led me to an epiphany. Authors, or at minimum Will Wight, are artists. The story written by Will and read by Travis Baldree is an absolute masterpiece. It seems that I rate every new book in this series as better than the last. This series is simply incredible. Even at full price, this series is a must read. I'm in awe. Utterly incredible, gentlemen. Well done.
