I am Hooked on the Wonderland series!

I LOVE this series so much that I can't stop listening! From the intricately woven plot to the richly developed characters who evoke strong emotions from the reader, this series is amazing! The narrator does a wonderful job bringing the characters to life!!! I can't wait to download the next book! I have enjoyed this audible series more than ANY other. I am a huge fan of the Outlander series and I would put this series right next to it in terms of quality, richness, and emotion. I hope to see this series made into a film.

2nd in a 5 part series

Another incredibly enjoyable book for both the writing and the narration and I listened to this 2nd book in one day. Though the whole premiss, the main characters choice annoys me and I don’t think this would be the choice in reality but this is fiction after all and without the choices characters make we wouldn’t have the same story. Once again as with the first book it’s left with an ending that makes you want to open the next book right away..which is what I’m doing right after this!

Animal abuse — not strong story.

Don't read this is you like animals. I can't see why an author can't figure out a plot wihtout killing animals in grueome ways. I don't even give a crap about these characters after that.

These characters keep making extremely stupid mistakes - story makes no sense

SPOILER ALERT !! * * * * Why would a Catholic try to overthrow a Catholic king Why would anyone go back again into the past where you are wanted & would suffer horrible death if caught, just so you can be married to a catholic priest ?? And be pregnant and have no modern medical help? As far as that goes, why leave a boy you loved like a son? Why would a well loved sister suddenly turn into a vindictive murderess & betray her beloved brother just because he was getting married to a woman who was pregnant with his child, even though her son had another estate to inherit, not titled but wealthy ? Why would you risk your love & your unborn child to save someone who tried to kill you ? They kept say Max was ”innocent” but come on, they guy was willing to commit murder just in case Hugo was going to try to take his his place even tho Max gave no indication that Hugo would do any such thing. Look how he handled Nev’s disappearance - she could have been in trouble but he hid her car and emptied her bank account just to prevent some scandal. He was a slime ball in the least , and also a would be murderer It seems these characters make extremely stupid decisions over and over and over again. Not a bad read, but I wouldn’t ever want to read it again.

Wonderful Series

I loved this story! It continues from where book 1 left off. Held my attention from the beginning. There is love, romance, mystery, and suspense. Couldn’t put it down; finished in a day. Eva Kaminsky’s narration was outstanding! Now on to book 3.
