A leader amongst leaders and an advocate for all is how I choose to describe the amazingly, beautiful person that is Nechi.

  • Episode 6: Hamidah The Warrior
    Apr 18 2024

Hamidah is a Type one warrior from Uganda, who is passionate about the social determinants of health and access to diabetes technology in LDC with Sonia Nabeta Foundation https://www.sonianabetafoundation.org/ www.sonianabetafoundation.org/product/afrobetes-bag

This conversation I had with Hamidah is by far the most impactful conversation I've had in my adulthood. Wow, yes! She will blow you away with her knowledge and experience even as a young adult. She is wise beyond her years. Not only has she attend conferences to gain access to technology and share her journey with T1D in Uganda but she's traveled all around Africa doing the exact things. During the heart of the the pandemic, she did not stop! She only pushed more and developed more of herself.
