Its been a few weeks but I am back with another hopefully topic called growing in the shadows. Sometimes we have to do work behind the scenes to prepare for things to come. I discuss this from a conversation I had with my middle son recently who also literally grows up in the shadows of his older siblings. Then in the back half I discuss the new Assassins Creed game, the Xbox and Playstation drama and end the show with the anime highlights from this season.

Today I wanted to send some encouragement to others, especially younger people like my kids to give things their all and do the best they can while the opportunity is there. Even though part of this is speaking from a sports/athletic perspective, I hope that what I say can be applied to other things you are doing, including working a job and parenting.

I checked out the manga, Rainbow: The Seven From Block 2 Cell 6 from author George Abe. This is a story of brotherhood that began in a juvenile reformatory with 7 young men and follows them across a decade of time.
