“It’s only work if you’d rather be doing something else…”

In Episode 5 of In POD We Trust, Jessica and Sarah spoke about the word “Fun”.

The episode began with Sarah talking about her experiences of 2017. At this point in her life, Sarah had all the conventional markers for success (money, travel, an important job) but she wasn’t happy. Ultimately, she wasn’t having any fun and that was something she felt she had to change.

Jessica and Sarah then went on to discuss fun as a birthright, how exquisite the human mind is and took a deep dive into Jessica’s lack of (conventional) gardening skills. 

The books they mentioned were ‘Your Body Is Your Brain’ by Amanda Blake and ‘Mary Magdalene Revealed’ by Meggan Watterson. 

The TV show Jessica mentioned was ‘Gentleman Jack’, created by BBC One and HBO.
