    It’s 2040, and up-and-coming teenage gamer Rolex is on the cusp of winning the Timekill World Championship when she’s mysteriously time bumped to another dimension—the treacherous underbelly of the metaverse known as The Mist. Now she’s trapped in a strange new digital world, far away from her ailing mother who is in dire need of life-saving surgery. Racing against the clock, her only hope of buying passage back to the real world is to team up with a ragtag bunch of digital misfits to hunt down a grip of top dollar Grailz—rare collectible NFTs (non-fungible tokens) buried deep within the digital rubbish of history. But does this scrappy squad of outliers and castoffs have what it takes to game the system, or will nefarious forces from the sinister side of the metaverse stop them in their digital tracks? Grailz: Lost in the Metaverse is a hilarious musical adventure, loaded with hip hop bangers and deeply immersive soundscapes that bring a new dimension to the listening experience.     The year is 2040. A competitive Real World gamer named Rolex is time-bumped down to a virtual purgatory of the Metaverse. She is lost, confused, and desperate to get back to the real world, where her mother requires life saving surgery. Meanwhile, The Mist is populated with worthless NFTs, avatars, and cast-off digital characters from the NFT boom of the early 2020s. After meeting up with a Bored Ape Yacht Club member named Dash (Simon Rex), a former NBA highlight in the form of Metta World Peace, and a rising rapper named Stackboy (Trinidad James), she begins her journey to return to the real world with her newfound friends.

But new challenges await, including a freestyle rap battle in an old warehouse requiring top-notch skills to win.

    Even though their currency is dwindling, the rest of The Mist begins to embrace our ragtag crew as their preferred team in the Grailz challenge. Mayor Reed attempts to cast a beautiful NFT named Sasha as his girlfriend for a ‘woke’ look in his re-election campaign. However, this causes him to double-cross Dash as a way to gain popularity. Sasha takes note and begins to help our heroes succeed in their quest – double-crossing Mayor Reed and possibly beginning to fall for Dash herself.

    Frustrated with his recent losses, Dash leaves the team. After entering an art challenge and losing, our crew miraculously finds a buyer for one of their pieces and suddenly has enough currency to attempt to get Rolex back to the real world. However, after tracking down Dash, they find that he has risked more money than the team can afford to lose. Rolex goes on her own, knowing she must enter the final Grailz challenge in one last desperate attempt to get home.

    After the final Grailz challenge, Dash informs Rolex that the only way back home is through the Dark Web, which is completely illegal and off-limits for all citizens of The Mist. However, they know this is the only way to get Rolex home. As they cross the gates into the Dark Web, Mayor Reed issues a state of emergency and goes after his archrivals in a final effort to regain the trust of The Mist and secure is re-election.
