  • E-bikes are distinguished by having a built-in electric motor (generally in the bottom bracket area), which facilitates the movement of the rear wheel. This movement requires your effort. It is not as simple as on a motorcycle to "open the throttle", rather it is a system that assists pedaling. This means that you have to pedal for the motor to start and give you a hand when it comes to completing the pedal stroke.

    In short, when you hear those that electric bicycles "are like mopeds" don't pay any attention. With an electric bike you can get tired ... a lot! What does happen is that you can decide when and how much you get tired.
