• Habits make Leaders
    Jan 31 2023

The potential of your leadership is a reflection of the quality of your habits. The habits you have today will shape who you become tomorrow. So, if you want to be more effective in your leadership, get more strategic with your habits.

Exercises you can do to grow as a leader—ask yourself and your team these questions:

    1. What is one habit you’ve tried to start in the past but failed? How could you change what you think of you to change that behavior?
    2. Think of the people who care about you the most. If they could see you improve in one area of your life, what would it be? What could you do to become that person?
    3. Where are you going to put your “I am” and “I do” statements? Make sure they’re somewhere you’ll see them every day.

    May 10 2022

Have you ever said you're barely keeping your head above water or you're in the weeds? Life can always consume us with the day to day schedule and commitment. Jana Kingsford said "Balance is not something you find, it's something you create." We either tell life what to do or life will tell us what to do. We need to start being intentional to create that balance in our life and stop using the excuse that "life gets in the way".

Join us as we discuss creating a work life balance with MSgt Jeremy Speck.

    May 3 2022

Army Gen Colin Powell,  the former secretary of state, said, "Leadership is solving problems. The day soldiers stop bringing you their problems is the day you have stopped leading them. They have either lost confidence that you can help or concluded you do not care. Either case is a failure of leadership."

Join us as we dive into Overcoming Challenges in Leadership with Major Clark (753d SOAMXS Commander).

Douglas MacArthur once said, “A general is just as good or just as bad as the troops under his command make him.” Do toxic leaders build up toxic followers, or is it the other way around? It, in fact, seems to be a complicated tango, one in which each side gradually leads the other off the precipice.

Listen as we dive into this topic with Special Guest MSgt Scruggs.

  • Gratitude
    Mar 15 2022

William Arthur Ward once said that, "Feeling gratitude and not expressing it is like wrapping a present and not giving it." Gratitude gives us another perspective in life. It turns our sorrow into beauty. Our low moments into high tops. It turn our tears into joy. We're seeing life through the lenses of gratitude, but also stretching ourselves to express our gratitude.
