  • Mysteries Beyond with Laura Lavender podcast was created to help in the bringing together of other open-minded like individuals.

    Together we can continue to learn from each other and further expand our knowledge on many topics all ranging from: the paranormal, sleep paralysis, lucid dreaming, out of body experiences (OBE's), magick, the occult, spirituality, and more.

    Its name was inspired from a quote in the 2016 Doctor Strange film, "What mysteries lie beyond the reach of our senses?" It is a query in which it is certain to have many possible answers as well as many truths. It is my intention and hope that anyone who listens to this podcast will feel welcomed, safe, no judgment, and most importantly know that they are not alone.

    In this episode we will be talking about Elementals. We'll go over what Elementals represent along with their corresponding attributes and/or properties. We will also go over on things you can do to invite them into your lives and homes, but be careful as there may be pros and cons to this.

    Mermaids/Sirens/Water Spirits
    In this episode we will be talking about the differences between mermaids,sirens, and water spirits. We'll also go over a little bit of Greek mythology, ancient Egyptian beliefs, and who Mami Wata is.

    Djinn
    The Djinn are said to be beings created from pure scorching wind and smokeless fire that dwell in another dimension that can inhabit our realm of reality. Many scholars are still unsure of the origin of the Djinn, but believe they were once Middle Eastern Gods worshiped by many until the monotheistic religion of Islam took over. These fire beings are known to possess many powerful abilities such as invisibility, teleportation, telekinesis, shapeshifting and can also read your mind. According to the Quran there are good and evil Djinn, but regardless of the side they choose they are still the descendants of Iblis, also known as, Shaitan (Satan).

    The Unicorn
    Unicorns are magical mythical creatures that have fascinated mankind for centuries. To this day, it seems we are bombarded with unicorn imagery everywhere we go. We have emojis, t-shirts, key chains, stuffed animals, andeven drinks named after them. In ancient times, the first mention of them was said to have appeared in Mesopotamian artwork and later referenced in mythologies across the world in places including China, India and Japan. The earliest detailed descriptions come from the Greeks and during the medieval ages people believed in their existence. What is the meaning behind the unicorn?

    In this episode we will be discussing the esoteric meaning behind the words I Am. We will go over on why we should be more careful and become more aware of what you say after those words and how it can be used against us. The words "I Am" can also be related to astrology.

    Importance of the Sun
    There is no doubt that all life exists here on this Earth because of the sun. Ancient civilizations from many different cultures soon learned that without the sun we would have no warmth, no harvest and without those important elements, death would soon follow. The sun is the basis of all life. It has since been a symbolic and important factor in many cultures and their religions. Christianity is no exception. Join us as we discuss the importance of the sun.

    Litha/Midsummer
    Litha is a holiday where we celebrate the summer solstice. It's that time where the sun is at its peak and it's simultaneously the longest day of the year as well as the shortest night. This sabbath is a fire holiday where many people choose to celebrate it by gathering near a bonfire and/or by incorporating solar magick in to their magickal workings.

    Blood and its Esoteric Significance
    As I overheard a conversation regarding a celebrity couple who recently got engaged and supposedly drank each other's blood it inspired to create an episode on the topic. For most the subject of blood is disturbing and can cause people to become dizzy, nauseated, and in worst case scenarios to faint. It is also taboo when we associated it with religion, but in this episode we will discuss it's esoteric significance.

    In this episode we will be talking about four of the major intuitive abilities (psychic abilities): Clairvoyance, Clairaudience, Claircognizance, and Clairsentience. I will also go over an experience I had that really left a strong impression on me.
    SLIders
    In this episode we will be talking about SLIders (S.L.I.), an acronym for Street Light Interference. This term is used to describe people who can affect street lights and other electronics and cause them to turn on/off and or malfunction. This is currently recognized as a scientific enigma and will go over the 3 "options" that paranormal scholar and author, Hilary Evans, wrote
    about in attempt to research and explain why this phenomenon happens.

    Channeling
    In this episode we will talk about what Channeling is and the three different forms that there are to do this. I will also share a personal experience I had with Channeling.
    Meditation
    In this episode we will go over on what meditation is, what does it mean to meditate, the different types of meditations, and the benefits that one can obtain from regularly doing this practice.
