Today we're sitting down with Katie Banks, Deputy Head Academic, who joined the school this term with a rich background in education, including roles at The Perse in Cambridge, and Guildford High School. She joined RHS from Bishop's Stortford College.
We talked to her about the importance of education in preparing young people for a rapidly changing future so that they are resilient, happy and successful students. We also discussed the role of AI in the classroom, why every lesson matters, and her love of the outdoors, particularly the view seen from her office.
