  • The Sex Series: Our Sexual Fantasies Are Roadmaps (Interview with Therapist Jay Stringer)
    Mar 10 2020

On today's show, I have Jay Stringer joining me to talk about our unwanted sexual behavior and thoughts. Jay is a therapist who is particularly interested in helping people find healing from sexual brokenness, and even more specifically, by helping people to listen to their lust. He says that Sexual fantasies are roadmaps and they pinpoint the location of your past harm and highlight the current roadblocks that keep you from freedom. If we pay attention, our sexual brokenness will reveal the way to healing.

I'd love YOUR Feedback on this series!

As we’re going through this series, The Sex Series, I would love to hear from you! Are you enjoying the series, is it helpful, is it raising more questions about topics you’d like me to expand on? Questions to Ask an EMDR Therapist Before Working with Them:

How often do you use EMDR? (Aundi doesn't recommend someone who doesn't use it often)

Have you worked with people who have a similar issue as mine?

What does faith-integration look like for you?

Questions to Ask Yourself Before Working with a Therapist:

How do I feel talking to that therapist? (Is there chemistry?)

Can I see myself being comfortable with this therapist?
