So relatable

I loved this episode. I love David Letterman and of course, Michelle. Two of my favourite minds in one session…I was so happy to see him guest hosting. Above all though, I want to just say that as a young women who grew up with zero confidence and zero self worth/respect, I find Michelle to be such an inspiration. Thank you, Michelle Obama…I’m grateful for you.

And thank you to Michelle for making what you went through and what you continue to go through so relatable. You help so many people who live with depression realise that it’s okay and that with help and determination, one can continue to live and be happy despite the negative narrative that is on loop in my brain. It’s quite something to live with that and still manage to smile…which I do. But I’m tired. It’s hard work. Thankfully, my love of my friends and family is greater than this. I’m fortunate, I know this.

Baby steps.
