  • In Discussion With...Nick Inge CEO of iTrust the Speak-Up Specialists
    Apr 22 2024
In the fourteenth episode of our second series, we have a very informative discussion with Nick Inge; CEO of iTrust, the Speak Up Specialists. _____________ In this episode Nick shares his expertise and experience, from being an informant handler in the police, to developing a platform to encourage a safe and secure Speak Up culture within organisations. Nick is passionate about changing the language around whistleblowing and instead using the term speak up. Nick's passion to develop this culture and spread the word is evident and all leaders should look to take notes on how a platform such as the one which Nick has helped to develop should be implemented as part of a well-rounded speak up culture. This conversation took a very different style and angle to previous episodes, however the topic of discussion is imperative for all leaders to consider and look to implement. The working world and society is moving forwards, and this topic is vital for organisations, big and small, to consider. _____________ Nick is very knowledgeable around the topic, having previously worked within the police as a handler, having spoken up himself and written a book on the topic. Have a look at his LinkedIn, connect with him, and go and explore what iTrust has to offer on their website. https://www.linkedin.com/in/nick-inge-736386108/ https://theitrustapp.com/ _____________ Do you, or someone you know, have a leadership journey and lessons to share with the world? • In Discussion with...Eric Beck - Founder of Founders Fire
    Apr 15 2024

In the thirteenth episode of our second series, we have a very broad and passionate discussion with Eric Beck; Founder of Founders Fire.

    _____________

In this episode Eric very passionately shares his message about providing employees a game worth playing. This message is so key, with employee motivation hitting a low and the epidemic of quiet quitting, Eric's message gives us a stark reality check around what may be causing this.

During this conversation we also touch on topics such as how society has out-paced biological development, leaving us with Neanderthal brains developed to fight or flight, within a society wrought with triggers. We also delve into a passionate topic of his, and mine, in terms of sustainability and the global crisis surrounding climate change and sustainable practices. How can we as leaders possibly have an impact on such a large issue?

This conversation was very different to many of the other podcast episodes we have had recently, but it is equally as enlightening and there are so many ideas and practices which can be taken on board and implemented. This episode's message is key; we must invest in the long term vision to build a sustainable and meaningful organisation, which provides its employees with a game worth playing!
