Story
She was an impulsive, fashionable, and carefree 1920's woman who embodied the essence of the Gatsby Girl, F. Scott Fitzgerald's wife, Zelda. As Fitzgerald said, "I married the heroine of my stories." All of the eight short stories contained in this collection were inspired by Zelda. Story
The Great Gatsby is a 1925 novel by American writer F. Scott Fitzgerald. Set in the Jazz Age on Long Island, near New York City, the novel depicts first-person narrator Nick Carraway's interactions with mysterious millionaire Jay Gatsby and Gatsby's obsession to reunite with his former lover, Daisy Buchanan. Fitzgerald's fictional narrative fully renders that period—known for its jazz music, economic prosperity, flapper culture, libertine mores, rebellious youth, and ubiquitous speakeasies.

Story

Story
The Fitzgeralds went to France in the spring of 1924 to get away from all the hubbub, and he wrote his masterpiece The Great Gatsby during the summer and autumn in Valescure near St. Raphael, France. His fourth novel, Tender Is the Night, received a poor critical reaction when it came out in 1934. Fitzgerald was eventually forced to try to earn a living as a screenwriter. He died in December 1940 in Hollywood while working on The Last Tycoon.

But when Marjorie helps her become a society girl and she wins the affections of a certain young man, a battle of wits and wills ensues between the two cousins. "I hope you feel things you never felt before. I hope you meet people with a different point of view. I hope you live a life you're proud of. If you find that you're not, I hope you have the strength to start all over again." When Benjamin Button is born he looks oddly like an old man. He's not interested in playing with other kids and he's too low on energy to participate anyway. When Benjamin turns 20 it dawns on his family that he is aging backwards. The younger he grows, the more he learns to embrace life.
