Next World Series

When a devastating electromagnetic pulse is detonated over the USA, it leads to a total loss of power and a complete and catastrophic breakdown of everyday society. As the country descends into chaos and anarchy, one man makes an epic decision in order to save his loved ones and find a place of safety.

In a post-apocalyptic world, where the rules have changed, Lance and his family, along with other survivors of the next-world, continue their struggle. Each setback grievously felt, and the clashes with military forces and desperate outlaws, have drained them both physically and mentally. But for Lance, he is left wondering how it will all end, as every day seems harder than the last. Can they reach the safety he promised everyone in one piece?

As Lance and his bedraggled group of survivors trek wearily across a wasted American nation, fighting off bands of criminals that would take everything they own, they discover that the most serious threat is still before them. Their numbers depleted at every stage, they now enter Raton Pass, New Mexico, a place where any semblance of rational thought or empathy for other human beings has long since ceased to exist.
