Zecia is burning.

Well thought through well narrated and still going strong 15 installments in. A good sense of struggle ups and downs without our protagonist just bouncing from win to win with ease. Happily waiting for the next one

Another fantastic addition to the story which is defiance of the fall already can’t wait for the next book as always pavi has done a phenomenal job with his narration

I can't take it anymore. Zach has been cultivating for 2 full books. "the void was the bridge forming a complete cycle of nourishment and stability". over 100 chapters of this drivel. You can't put 3-4 chapters together of character interaction, the universe powers plotting and scheming, something smart or funny, anything really. All characters are reduced to props with nothing more than one line dialogues, mostly revolving around Zach's might. Everything I liked about this book is gone. It turned into an afternoon lesson where the professor drones on and on about meaningless stuff you can't focus on. On the plus side it would put you to sleep in no time flat so there's that.

I really liked this series up until now, but it's getting hard to listen to. There is so much time spent contemplating about the dao and the void, it just keeps going on and on.

I’ve been following this series from the beginning and have thoroughly enjoyed the majority of the last fifteen books. However, the most recent installments have been increasingly difficult to get through. The pacing feels stagnant, with very little meaningful development until the final hour of listening, at which point we’re given only a small piece of progression before the book ends. Much of the remainder is weighed down by repetitive, drawn-out explanations and chapters that feel like filler rather than meaningful story. As a long-time reader, I hope future volumes return to the stronger balance of plot, character, and world-building that first made this series so engaging.

A Once-Great Series Losing Its Momentum

I don’t know what happened but I really like this series but this book was just incredibly boring.

I feel like the story is maybe 20% of the book while the other 80% was describing every single thing possible in great detail.

I honestly can’t even think of any conversations or moments from the book that stand out to me. While I can think of many examples from the earlier books.

Like listening to someone read a user manual for a fantasy spaceship engine
