Book was great, but narrator was awful!

This book was great. I took away many helpful tips to eat more healthily. However, the narrator was just awful. He sounded snobby and I had a hard time getting past it. I wish I had purchased the hardcover book as there are so many things I would like to go back and reference.

love the book

The book is full of useful and interesting information that is easy to understand and implement into to our everyday living. I like how the book isn't trying to prescribe what to do and give you the information to make your own and implement the change (if you going to make one) into your life in a way that suits you.

The book has a lot of science and research based information to help support the premise of the book,

I suggest reading it slowly and taking lots of notes along the way. Or read it more than once

So glad that I have the opportunity to read book, and hear what the author has to say and hear his experiences and suggestions.

I loved the Eat to beat the desease

But this book was basic. I think it should be add on front book basic Guideline. Most of info already was in first book. I was expecting more knowledge & new researches, More about new bacterium, hormone effect, pesticide & GMO but I was disappointed.

Excellent, informative book

This book is wealth of information. As a research nurse, I appreciated all the scientific background cited throughout the book. The narrator does a phenomenal job. If you’re serious about embracing healthy eating and utilizing “food as medicine” I highly recommend this book. Thank you Dr. Li for this resource.

A real waste of my tine

This is at all about how food can be delicious and still be healthy. The narrator is less than appealing. The content is either completely missing or well hidden.

Simple guidelines that are easy to follow

I love Dr. Li and his first book Eat to Beat Disease is one of my favorites of all time and goes in my game changer category of books. I enjoyed this book (though not as much as the first) and feel his plan is simple & easy to follow. I don’t agree with everything he said but I think most of it would work for most people. I would love to see him do a follow-up of Eat to beat disease with more research/updates with the newest science, especially his COVID research!

Lots of great actionable information

Love the book. My only criticism is I cannot find the accompanying PDF anywhere. Please update the book to have the PDF!
