Description

Scarlett is always the sensible one: The sober driver. The planner. The one holding your hair back while you're worshiping the porcelain gods.

Week-after-week, she visits Jock Row with her friends - the university's hottest party scene and a breeding ground for student athletes. And if keeping her friends out of trouble and guys out of their pants was a sport, she'd be the star athlete. Being a well known jock-blocker gets her noticed for all the wrong reasons; just like that, she's banned from Jock Row. No guy wants a girl around who keeps their jock friends from getting laid.

"Rowdy" Wade is the hot shot shortstop for the university's baseball team - and the unlucky bastard who drew the short straw: keep little Miss Goody Two-Shoes out of the baseball house. But week-after-week Scarlett returns, determined to get inside.

Another great Book!!

If you liked how to date a Douchebag series, you’ll like this one too!! However, Rowdy, is a good guy surrounded by douchebags. Him and Scarlett build this beautiful relationship slow and steady.
The narration is sooooo good!! Josh Goodman’s voice is magic! ❤️

The Very Best Yet!

If you are a fan of the Douchebag series, then you’ll love this book too. It was a delicious slow burn romance with a ton of flirting and swoony moments. The way this couple get to know each other is adorable. And when they finally got together, sizzle! This book brought me out of a reading funk with its sweet courtship, funny lines and wooing. Sterling and Scarlett are one couple I would like to read more about. I devoured this book in hours I loved it so much.

Beautifully written and addictive

Scarlet shows up to a house party frumpy and not willing to put up with the load of BS being thrown in her friends direction. Since her sass is throwing the guy off his game, the next thing she knows she's being thrown out of the party by the team captain, Rowdy Wade.

But when he refuses to let her reenter the party, she puts up a fight like he's never seen before. The most shocking thing that comes out of it, is that she comes back. What starts out as a diversion tactic, turns in to much more.

I completely fell in love with these characters. I never wanted this book to end and seriously hope there will be more to this series in the near future.

Ava Erickson and Josh Goodman only add to Sara Ney's brilliance in Jock Row, the first book in the Jock Hard Series. This trifecta are nothing but perfection.

Too much unnecessary bad language

I’m a HUGE fan of this author...and I don’t normally verbally review...but I’m a little annoyed with her overuse of GD & JC...Come on...the characters aren’t even mad & it’s a “GD sandwich”? No need. One other slight issue with this book...was that the scene never seemed to change... it was boring...but that’s just my opinion. I have the attention span of a small child. On a nicer note...this author has several books on my personal TOP 10 FAV’s list & I am soo glad she’s a writer!! XO

A MUST for all who need a little 💞 & 🌈🌠❗

I adore this author! Whenever I look at the 'New York Times" Top Selling Novel's or what books win the awards yearly I find myself so perplexed with what our society values as a whole as it reflects this in ways as to what we feel worthy of being 'award-winning ' and what we feel is of only. I must lead by stating that those said Novel's are amazing, all of which have mastered the Arts in order to receive such notoriety. Yet the ONE thing that I have yet to notice that I feel every reader out there could benefit from & enjoy is exactly what THIS AUTHOR GIVES ME EACH AND EVERY TIME I READ/LISTEN TO ONE OF HERE AUDIBLES!!!

THIS: a well written story of fictional characters that are easily relatable AND ⭐as you read/ listen you actually LAUGH OUT LOUD and...drum roll p!ease... when you are done with the story you FEEL HAPPY!!!

Just so refreshingly different

Love this story. Refreshingly romantic with out the major drama. Friendship first is the keystone to a long lasting passionate relationship. I just speak from experience after 35 years of sharing are wants, needs etc.

Cute

This is a good writer who knows how to pick narrators. Although the story was cute in lacked bite, other than the fact that Scarlett was a virgin and Rowdy’s friends didn’t like her. It was a cute anecdote that Ney turned into a story. A lot of her books are like that. They are fun, sweet HEA with not a lot of conflict, but they are well written and made to let you relax. That being said I thought this book went on a bit long for what it is.

3.5 stars

Based on the blurb I was expecting it to be a bit more of Scarlett c*blocking the jocks (at least in the beginning) but it's not. While I did enjoy their Fridays I guess I needed something more to happen. Their romance is such a slow burn. I loved Sterling but it took me longer to warm up to Scarlett. Overall it was still a good story it just didn't pull me in like other books by this author.

I liked Jock Rule much better

I got this book on Kindle and here on Audible so I could read or listen when I wanted to, so I am leaving the same review here as I did on amazon.
I read Jock Rule first, I liked it much better.. It was witty, sweet, sexy and just a pleasure to read. So then I saw Jock Row and 'Oh, this is a series' and I grabbed it. tbh, this is so similar to Jock Rule in the set up that I was surprised, and bored. Sure, there were def. some funny moments but the thing that put me off this story was how the MC thought of themselves as 'kids' and wondered if their parents would let them do certain things. Ugh.. that took the sexiness away. Then they don't seem like adults making sexy adult decisions, they seem like 13 yr olds coping a feel.

Practical Blunt College Girl and Baseball Player Become Friends and Fall In Love

I absolutely loved this story! I love the way the friendship grew, that both Scarlett and Rowdy were more interested in a connection...we’re mature enough at 21 to see and develop a sweet relationship...they didn’t jump into a sexually intimate relationship until they knew one another.
So romantic...funny, sweet, and kept me listening.
The narrators couldn’t be better.
Got this on Romance Package it think I will buy it to have always.

Loved it!

It had been a while since I listened to an audiobook, I don’t commute anymore. I only have to go 10 min away. I thought I didn’t have time to listen. So while looking through all my audiobooks. I picked Jock Row, and I know that Sara writes some good romance, ones that have the witty banter and the steamy romance we all love.

Scarlett isn’t your normal Heroine. She’s smart, witty, and has a goal in life. Never giving in to the usual College rituals, that’s how she meets Sterling (love that name). He’s a little over the College parties and the groupies. So when he meets Scarlett, she’s a whole new territory.

I loved how they got to know each other, and it was slow but not too slow. It had a great pace. There’s an innocence while they are getting to know each other — their not quick, into the sheets. For a good reason, Scarlett isn’t just giving it up for anyone. And Sterling isn’t sure what's going on with him and the feelings that grow between them both.

I loved the narrators; they were great. Great narrators, make a story even better.

Overall, Five Boundless Stars.
