Fung fan, Moore not so much
I love Dr Fung’s work and have hard copies of all his books, but wanted to listen in the car so got the audio book. The content is great. If you read the Obesity Code previously, the first several chapters of this one can likely be skipped however.
BUT...... Jimmy Moore is simply a wretched narrator. His accent and way of speaking sound like he’s got marbles in his mouth. I’m sure he’s fine when speaking naturally in a podcast or video, but for reading a book out loud he is terrible. If I actually had the time to read the physical book, his narration would have been what drove me to return the audio book.
Seriously, Dr Fung (or any of his people) you’re shooting yourself in the foot having this guy read your books. Please pick someone else next time. The guy who did Obesity Code was just fine.

Great book, bad performance
I want to give this book a 5, but I can’t given how much I dislike Jimmy Moore’s performance of it. The information and excellent intro to Fasting has made me a true believer of the benefits of fasting. This book goes so well with The Obesity Code by Dr. Fung as well and Keto Clarity by Jimmy Moore. Since I read this, my whole world has opened up! I have done IF a lot and really enjoy it...I owe it to Jimmy Moore and Dr. Fung for making info like this available!

great book, audio was creepy
I love the written book, it informative and well written. The didn't like the audio. Jimmy Moore read the whole audio, and found that weird to listen too. I enjoyed when he read the part that he wrote. I felt that Jason Fung should of read what he wrote and Megan Remas should of read what she wrote. But for some reason the effort to make a good audio version of this book wasn't important. Jimmy Moore has written his own books and has podcasts so his voice is well known as is Megan's and Jason Fung's voices. There should be standards for an audio book as it is a vocal presentation and should sound realistic.

Breaking the Weight loss mystery.
This information is life changing. I recommend listening to the Obesity Code first. Dr Jason Fung with the clinical research at his clinic in Toronto Canada makes his books and videos very credible. I cannot recommend this strongly enough. I applied these truths (along with cellular Nrf2 pathway activation) and released 60 lbs. Just or maybe more importantly I know how to keep it off. I will never be heavy again and can enjoy life to its fullest. I believe with this knowledge we can break the cycle of obesity and at the same time reduce dependence on the pharmaceutical drug culture so prevalent today. 👍✔️

Life changing book

outstanding!
I just love this book! I had been learning about the benefits of fasting and this just helped me gain the confidence to give it a try. I am 40 plus hours into my fast and I'm doing very well.

Great book. Narrator not as bad as reviews suggest
Book is full of useful information and answers all of your practical questions if you are thinking of fasting.
Narration could have been improved but it’s nowhere as bad as some reviews suggest.

great info
loved the information, found the narration a bit dry and hard to follow (sorry Jimmy). a little repetition but I went through it all, I see this need for repetition if you are just reading a chapter.

Mostly Good!
Started well. Ended well. Spent 4 hours in between repeating the same message over and over again. Good book overall still, but would recommended the Obesity Code over this in a heartbeat.
