I felt the book jumped around too often. The chapters are like journal entries. Unlike other reviewers I did not like the format.

I loved this book. If I could give six stars for the performance, I would. I have to admit the format did not thrill me at first. I didn't think I could get through several hours of letters, but am I ever glad I did! This is a quiet book of contemplations, the story unfolds slowly with beautiful, perfectly human characters. Read it. You won't be sorry.
