Karla McLaren’s writing is beautiful, clear, and deeply kind. I especially loved her narration of the audiobook — the way she reads her words makes you feel held and welcomed. Her voice carries the same compassion she writes with, inviting us to meet our emotions, and ourselves, with gentleness and honesty.
