À propos de cet audio

Doing well with money isn’t necessarily about what you know. It’s about how you behave. And behavior is hard to teach, even to really smart people.

Money - investing, personal finance, and business decisions - is typically taught as a math-based field, where data and formulas tell us exactly what to do. But in the real world people don’t make financial decisions on a spreadsheet. They make them at the dinner table, or in a meeting room, where personal history, your own unique view of the world, ego, pride, marketing, and odd incentives are scrambled together.

In The Psychology of Money, award-winning author Morgan Housel shares 19 short stories exploring the strange ways people think about money and teaches you how to make better sense of one of life’s most important topics.

This is an excellent book. Some of the content is taken from the author’s blog posts, but it is compiled, and added to, in a manner that makes it worthwhile. The reader, whom some will know from Motley Fool Money podcasts, is great.

Excellent Book

Delivers what was a promised. Excellent storytelling, concise messages, filler-free chapters... really appreciate a book that is exactly as long as it needs to be, and the narration is excellent too.
Will most likely listen to this one again.

this is one of the few books that I have told everyone I care about to read so that they too can understand their relationship with money and how their actions and life events have created their psychology. this book is very well structured and covers each theme extremely well. its helped me understand my relationship with money and I truly feel I've grown from it. what I find most interesting is how I come across so many different people in my life and how everyone interprets money so differently. it all seems to me more sense now. I highly highly recommend everyone read/Listen to this book

it's hard to express in one line how much I like this book

Really good at explaining why even irrational behavior on the market is quite rational. And explains margin of safety in a new way as having a bigger cash bank to fall back on when the unplanned happens

Pretty good
