On Just Another Monster S1E8: The Menace of South Fork I cover the murder of 18 year old Mandy Stavik from the small town of Acme, Washington. Mandy was visiting her mother and friends during Thanksgiving break in 1989. The day after Thanksgiving Mandy left for her regular run along the country roads of Acme with her German Shepherd companion "Kyra". Hours later Kyra returned home but Mandy didn't. 3 days later Mandys body was found in the Nooksack river but it would take nearly 30 years to solve her murder.

Welcome to the first episode of season one of Just Another Monster, a show where we shed light on the monsters that live among us. On this episode I cover the 28 year old cold case of the Mayflower Killer.

On December 14th 1991 a 16 year old girl was found brutally murdered just outside of her high school. The monster responsible for this murder eluded detectives for nearly 30 years. The only lead detectives had to go on was the DNA evidence left at the scene of the crime. Without a match the only data they could gain from the DNA profile was that the monster responsible was related to the Fuller family who arrived to the Americas in 1620. They came here on the Mayflower, hence the moniker of The Mayflower Killer.

This is a very special episode as I also reveal publicly for the very first time my very unique, unexplainable, some may even say paranormal, connection to this case.
