He reviews new releases by Pulp, Matt Berninger and Little Simz amongst others and also chats about his upcoming trip over to Dublin to see Neil Young and Van Morrison who have both released new records in June.

On this weeks episode of the podcast, Iain keeps it local and chats to John Peacock the founder of North East music festival Coast Fest.

Running a music festival in todays climate is getting more and more difficult and daunting so we dive into the detail of organising Coast Fest, discuss the lineup for 2025's festival and generally just talk about the music scene in the UK's north east area.

John picks out a few highlights from the upcoming festival too and we discuss how he managed to book the legendary Lindesfarne for this year!

Record collectors all know how expensive original pressings of certain records can be so reissue labels are doing all collectors a great service in repressing records at reasonable prices.

Iain picks his top 10 reissue labels covering genres including Jazz, Funk, Soul and more in this special 30 minute roundup digging into each label's history and recommending some records he has picked up from each label.

Brown Horse are a band that this podcast has been championing since the start and the band have just recently released their second record titled "All The Right Weaknesses" in April 2025.

This week, Iain kicks off his Bruce Springsteen specials on the eve of Springsteen's Land Of Hope & Dreams European Tour starting on May 14th.

These specials will invite some fans onto the podcast to chat about Bruce Springsteen, their history with Bruce and how they got into following the great man himself.

On this weeks episode, Iain sits down for a chat with Kieran Lane who is a Bruce Springsteen super fan and fellow forum member where Kieran and Iain first met.
