内容紹介
童話作家の笹本静雄が殺され、妻の笹本芳枝が誘拐された。
犯人はモジャモジャ頭で釣鐘マントの男だ。
探偵小説家・大江百虹の調べで、その正体が夏目太郎と判明する。
夏目は芳枝とはいとこにあたり、身寄りがなく叔父にひきとられていた芳枝と一緒に育ち、ゆくゆくは芳江と結婚することになっていた。
