Publisher's Summary

Being a software developer is a magical thing. You type text into a computer, and users see buttons on screens, movies on their phones, control drones, order food, control their lights, and do so much more. Software development is a superpower!

But how do you do it? How do you become a software developer? And when you are one, how do you deal with all the daily things of software development? There are so many things to deal with, like finding and keeping a job, managing your career, choosing programming languages to learn, troubleshooting applications, working in a team, staying healthy, and keeping up with technology.

This book contains 200 things that will help you to become and stay an incredible software developer. I have learned the lessons in this books from experience in my career as a software developer, architect, teacher, and freelancer and want to share them with you.

In the book, I cover things about career, programming, troubleshooting, finding a job, freelancing, working in a team, working remotely, productivity, the developer community, learning, and staying healthy. The audiobook is technology-agnostic, so it doesn't matter if you are a Java, .NET, or Node.js developer - these things are universal and will help you.

Learn with me and become the best software developer that you can be!

14y as a programmer. I recommend this audiobook.

I am happy to have found this audiobook. It felt like sitting with a coach, listening to good pieces of advice.
It's always straight to the point, with no endless anecdotes like other audiobooks of this genre. I sometimes question my knowledge and competence, but Barry Luijbregts gave me confidence and made me feel normal.
The performance was perfect, which made the content even more enjoyable.

I am a programmer with 14 years of experience and I recommend this audiobook to beginners and experienced devs.
