Are we living in the last days? End-time events prophesied thousands of years ago are manifesting on the Earth today with increased frequency and intensity. Simply watch the nightly news or scroll through social media to witness a plethora of strange happenings that have been captured on camera or video. Who would have ever imagined reported sightings of giant aliens at a mall in Miami? Or UFOs cloaked in clouds?

Evidence of a coming showdown between good and evil is mounting enough to squelch the sarcasm of end time mockers and scoffers. Even the staunchest non-believers sense that something evil is coming and agree that perhaps we are close to the Apocalypse. A palpable rise in darkness is causing fear and confusion, leaving many to wonder where to go for answers. There is a reliable resource available to help navigate our course during the last days. Ancient prophecies in The Bible warn of events to come.

In Luke 21: 26 – 28, the disciple offers a glimpse of something ominous coming in the last days that will cause such fear that men will drop dead of heart failure.

What could cause such fear? Jesus gives us many clues. One most notable is found in Matthew 24:37: “As in the days of Noah so shall it be when the Son of Man returns…” What is so distinctive about the days of Noah? Events occurring during that time were so horrendous that God Almighty had to intervene. Did Noah’s time resemble today’s headlines that speak of aliens, UFOs, weather catastrophes and strange sightings across the globe?
