Brilliant Debut from Daniel Greene

Suspenseful, Gory, and more than a little scary, this story is sure to please. The breakneck pace and masterful action will make you feel as if you have heard a full-length tale in half the time. I can't wait for the next book! P.s.- squeamish listeners, don't listen to this before bed.

Entertaining fast-paced mystery

I especially enjoyed the well-realized, subtle and touching husband/wife relationship. It was a delight!

A female protagonist is always a refreshing point of view. The hints of world building definitely left me wanting more. The mystery and investigation aspect had a satisfying payoff. Be warned that it is quite gruesome, in case that's not your cup of tea.

I definitely recommend this well-crafted story!

Great work!

This book is a bit intense for my usual reading. It’s brutal and gory. But that all seems to fit within the context of the world that is being created in the page.

As this is a novella there were a few moments that felt a bit accelerated and a challenge to follow.

Overall I think it’s a great first dip into this dark world.

Michael Kramer and Kate Reading are, of course, brilliant.

Great first novella

A great first opening for Mr. Greene. A nice mystery, with a fast pace and some interesting early world building. I can't wait for the next one. I wish there was more

Looking forward to further entries in the series. A brief and enjoyable point of entry into a new world.

FREE ON YOUTUBE PLEASE DONATE THERE

Awesome book and you can get it for free on YouTube! Please donate some money on it though, Daniel Greene is an amazing creator and deserves some money for providing this book to all. On top of that audible takes a large sum of money away from creators so instead of purchasing it with a credit here to support him go to YouTube and donate and he’ll get all the revenue!

this excellent novella is a proof of concept for new artist, Daniel Greene. he builds an intriguing world so casually, while giving us a gripping adventure with characters you can't help but care about

A Hook in the Earlobe

A fast paced, gritty bitesize story that you can sink your teeth into. I love his YouTube videos, so I figured Daniel Greene would be a pretty good author. But damn. This one fish hooked me.

great as a first go but the ending leaves you.....

as an overall story it was good. but it felt like more of an introduction to the world then a introduction to an overall story with characters to be hooked on. I understand what the other is trying to do but I think it might have been a little better if he released more of these short stories together to introduce the world rather than one open-ended novella that leaves you a little short . I'm going to wait for Mr Greene to release all of the novellas and read them in one go rather than read them as they come out.
