I come from a background in psychology and the science for me has been the most important aspect in terms of weight, motivation, food and eating. Many books do not cite their sources, or talk about the psychological impact of food addiction. Thompson comprehensively helps you clear the space from your mind that would otherwise be occupied with food, so that you can become the best version of yourself. She supports this evidence by referencing important studies and she accessibly breaks down the science.
